Plant snap pea seedlings in Fujimi Park's field
You plant snow pea seedlings in the field at Fujimi Park. The harvest is planned for next spring.
It all started with "Cabrera," a Kawasaki Frontale mascot. He heard that the goal nets at the soccer facility "Anker Frontown Ikuta" were being replaced, and instead of letting them be thrown away, he had them brought to Fujimi Park. The peas will be grown using these nets.
The nets are large, so there is plenty left over after the peas. Anyone who wants one can cut a piece with scissors and take it home. According to the official website, the nets were also used by Frontale players 由井航太, 関德晴 and 林駿佑, as well as 小川尋斗 and 藤田明日翔, who are set to join the club in January 2027.
- Who can join: no age limit. Children of elementary school age and younger must come with a parent or guardian
- Places: about 20 people
- What to bring: clothes and shoes that can get dirty, work gloves, a towel and a drink
- Beginners are welcome
