Roots Lab.美食部 (“we”) handles personal information on Kawasaki Saiwai Biyori (“this site”) as follows. The Japanese version of this policy is the official one.

What information do you collect?

This site has no registration. We never ask you to enter your name, email address or similar information. Only if you sign in with Google on the My list page do we store information, as described below.

Where are “Been there!” and “Want to go” stored?

In the browser on your device (local storage). Clearing your browser data also deletes them.

If you choose to sign in with Google on the My list page, your records are also saved to Google Firebase (provided by Google LLC) so you can see them on other devices. We store only your records, plus the name, email address and ID of the Google account you sign in with, and use them only to show your list. Only you can read your records. Signing in is optional. To delete your saved records, please contact us on LINE.

Do you use analytics?

To understand how the site is used and make it easier to read, we use Google Analytics, an analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages viewed, approximate region and device type. It does not collect information that identifies you, such as your name.

This information is handled under Google’s privacy policy. You can stop it from being collected by disabling cookies in your browser or by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

What about messages you receive?

Messages sent to our official LINE account are used only to reply to you. LINE handles them under the terms of LY Corporation.

What about links to other sites?

This site links to restaurants’ official websites, Kawasaki City’s official website, Google Maps and others. Information on those sites is handled under their own policies.

Will this policy change?

We review it as needed and will announce any changes on this page.
