LAZONA Kawasaki’s Plaza Sol hall is closed until Dec 31 for air-conditioning work; Lazona Yose moves to Kawasaki Nohgakudo

Plaza Sol's hall closes October to December

The multipurpose hall LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza Sol, on the 5th floor of LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza, is closed from Monday, Oct 12 to Thursday, Dec 31, 2026. Kawasaki City announced this on Oct 9.

The reason is work to replace the air-conditioning system. The period is planned, and any change will be posted on the Plaza Sol official website.

Who is affected

People who planned to use the Plaza Sol hall this year, and people who planned to attend events there. Anyone who booked the hall will need to find another venue.

If you want to use the hall from January 2027, you can still book during the closure.

Lazona Yose moves to the Kawasaki Noh Theater

"Lazona Yose," the yose (traditional variety theater) show held at Plaza Sol on the third Tuesday of each month, will be held at Kawasaki Nohgakudo (川崎能楽堂, 1-37 Nisshin-cho, Kawasaki Ward) for the three shows during the closure.
