Bar hopping around the station from Oct 25
From Sun, Oct 25 to Sun, Nov 1, you can hop between restaurants around Kawasaki Station. This year it switched to tickets.
- Buy a ticket book (¥3,600 for three ¥1,200 tickets).
- At a shop, say you're joining the "Kawasaki Bar Festival" and hand over one ticket (two at some shops) for the special bar menu.
- When you're done, move on to the next shop.
61 shops take part: 7 in Azalea and Kawasaki More's, 27 around La Cittadella and Ogawacho, and 27 around Nakamise-dori and other shopping streets. Menus include sets like five kushikatsu skewers with a drink, three kinds of oden with a drink, and crab miso grilled in the shell with a drink, all from ¥1,200.
Tickets are sold at the Kawasaki Kita-Terrace Tourist Information Center (until Nov 1; weekdays 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., weekends and holidays 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), at participating shops that handle tickets, and at the information desk at Kawasaki Fes Hiroba during the stall days. Tickets can't be used at the food stalls and can't be refunded.
From Saiwai, walk from West Exit to East Exit
The venue is on the east exit side of JR Kawasaki Station. From Saiwai Ward, go to the station's west exit (the Lazona Kawasaki Plaza side) and walk through the free passage inside the station to the east exit — you'll be there right away.
It is organized by the Kawasaki Yoichi Executive Committee, made up of Kawasaki City, shopping streets near Kawasaki Station and others. Check the official website for details.
